あるのは、ひとつひとつ違う、あなただけの湯。
誰にも邪魔されず、好きな時に、好きなだけ湯に浸かってほしいという思いで、この宿には大浴場がございません。
すべての客室に、それぞれ趣の異なる温泉をしつらえました。木や石、光や影の演出が、ひとつとして同じ湯を作らない。ときに静かに、ときに深く、自分と向き合うための湯です。
There are no large baths here. What you will find here are baths that are different from each other, just for you.
The inn does not have a large bathhouse, as we want guests to soak in the hot spring whenever they want and as long as they want, without being disturbed by anyone. All of the guest rooms are equipped with different types of hot spring baths. The wood, stone, light, and shadows create a unique atmosphere that is never the same. The baths are designed to help you face yourself, sometimes quietly, sometimes deeply.

定山渓の湯
Jozankei onsen
慶応2年（1866年）修行僧・美泉定山が傷ついた鹿が傷を癒しているのをみつけ、湯小屋を建てたのが始まりといわれる定山渓温泉。第一寶亭留は、温泉街を流れる豊平川河畔の河床から自噴する3本の源泉を所有しています。鉄分など各々含有成分が異なる源泉をブレンドすることで、より濃厚な温泉をお愉しみいただいております。
Jozankei Onsen is said to have been founded in 1866 (Keio 2) when monk Bisen Teizan saw a wounded deer healing its wounds and built a hot-spring hut. Dai-ichi Baoteiru owns three sources of hot spring water that gush out naturally from the riverbed of the Toyohira River, which flows through the hot spring resort. By blending these sources, each of which contains different components such as iron, guests can enjoy a richer hot spring experience.

Daiichi Hotei offers a customer service that provides easy access to 13 locations within Jozankei Onsen, including the Yamanokaze Machi area, with the hope that guests will enjoy their stay in Jozankei. (Valid from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. the following day.)
